    Tartans for "dummies'

    Looking at the bookstore the other day they have everything else, how about a tutorial on tartans,
    What is the Sett
    What is the Stripe
    Pleating to each
    How to "Read" a Tartan
    and anything else us newbies might need to know

    Just a suggestion.... You might want to do a search on the forums, there are many, many threads with those answers. Secondly, you might want to be looking our for a book by Barb Tewksbury.. "The art of kiltmaking"

    No. Any book about tartans would have to be in Scots.
