    Oh plenty!
    Just not in my yard!
Now you might say...."just plant one". No dice. Everywhere there can be a tree there is already fruit trees.
Given that the only handy alternative is to do a border raid into my neighbor's yard, I think a little sprig of plastic from the craft store will work just fine

Seriously though...I really didn't even know the protocol behind the plant thing. I understand now that the plant sprigs were used before the clan badges and I also now understand that the idea is to just tuck the plant behind the badge.

Hey....if you don't know, you don't know. Thanks to all for responding.
It don't mean a thing, if you aint got that swing!!

I have a large plant pot outside my frontdoor in which I grow heather for sprigs (it regrettably doesn't grow wild in London - or rather I regret that I'm in London where there's no heather).

I live in Salt Lake City, but in an apartment building. Last Christmas my wife and I purchased a Miniature Alberta Spruce. It loves the inside in this area. So far this year it has grown 3-4 inches. I was told that inside in a container it would grow to be at least 6 feet tall. You could keep one as a house plant for your badge. Does anyone know if boxwoods will be happy inside?

I say go ahead and wear a synthetic if you can find a twig of it for sale at a local synthetic plant shop.

Anyone who can tell the difference is probably looking too hard.
