Buccleuch Modern
Not sure which forum to drop this into (Mods, please move to correct area).
Has anyone seen a kilt made up in this tartan? I just love the color blocks and the modern feel to it. I bet it is fantastic pleated to sett.

Found it at this weblink:

Apparently, the Clan Scott have close ties with Buccleuch. All this from down in Pour 1 Malt's area in Dumphries and along the southern edge of Scotland. I'm just starting to explore family info.
If anyone knows where I could see a pic of this tartan made up into a garment, please post the link. (I know its a long shot but ...)
Thanks.

I've been eyeing the Buccleuch tartan over at USAKilts. Although their version is much more earthy tones. Can't help you in your quest, just thought I'd mention it.

I'm often wrong. But, believe the Marton Mills Buccleuch tartan that Rocky sells is a fashion tartan...? I bought one anyway because of the connections of the name with my Scott clan. Rocky warned its a very small sett, and it is, but I like it anyway and it doesn't come off as a tablecloth effect.

Anyway, its an inexpensive option until you can get the high priced one set up. And, cousin, you might find a pic on the images section of the search engines...a long shot for sure though. Looks like there be many ways to pleat that tartan too. If ya want it, find a good kiltmaker and they'll find the material and reccomend the best pleating options. Always trust your kiltmaker.
For them that be new, pic is on the Colorado River in Glen Canyon, AZ.
