Mecklenburg County Commission meeting on April 6th at the Government Center (the triangular shaped building located at 600 E 4th Steet and Davidson Street) in downtown Charlotte is the venue for Tartan Day proclamations. It is suggested that while wearing tartan is encouraged, you should not wear sgian dubhs, dirks, swords or carry muskets.. the staff at the government center has no sense of humor about such things...
