Robert you are in our prayers this morning, forget my leather kilt...I would rather wear trousers than see your health decline.

Take care my friend, greetings to your lovely wife.

Robert... everyone else is wishing you a speedy recovery and that is very nice of them.

I, however, think you're a frickin' WUSS! I sewed through the top of my fingernail and out the bottom. After yanking out the broken needle with a pliers, I didn't have any bandages, so I wrapped a paper towel around my finger, held it on with duct tape (what CAN'T it fix) and went back to work. I just had to make sure no blood got on anything, but I DIDN'T STOP WORKING. It's CRUNCHTIME dammit! Patty's day is next weekend! Walk it off and get back in the game!

You need a SERIOUS lesson in discipline. "oh no... my hand has a tiny tube sticking out. I can't sew". I thought you were a KILTMAKER. I guess you're just a wuss with a needle and thread. So what if you rip out the IV and spill a little blood and IV drug on my leather kilt. It'll give it CHARACTER. Now QUIT yer whinin' and get back to WORK!

If it were anyone else, I'd be very understanding and sympathetic... Even if it was Robert 3 weeks from now... but this man is delaying making my kilt!

Robert you do have to take care. I recently read in a five part article that you are a pioneer in the casual kilt field. I forget now where I read it A little slowing down now is better than and earlier retirement down the road. I can say this as I currently do not have an order in with you, otherwise I be up in Stratford dragging your caboose back to your sewing machine!

Yep...I'm a WUSS... I still have the needle in my hand reminding me everytime I move my fingers.... And yes I can sew...I can deal with the 5amp motors that power my little machines as well as the Adler and 20lb flywheel....no probs.
(Head tilted back to one side with right hand to brow in open handed salute) But I create art in my kilts and I can't have distractions....(Let alone phonecalls from certain kiltmaker asking if his kilt is done yet)
However I do have the skins to make his kilt....I hear the material for mine hasn't come in yet?!
Oh dear me,....I'll do my best not to whine too much...maybe have a wee dram... and plot...oh I mean plan or rather engineer that special leather kilt I"M GONNA MAKE FOR YOU and the little special requests!....

Thanks Rocky you made me laugh... and my friend Graham knows I need that.
    You gotta have fun.

PS to those who feel offended by our interactions meaning Rocky and I...please don't, we just poke at each other every once in awhile .
Cheers mate don't sew too late tonight
    Robert

Robert take of your self. By the way have you thought of replacing the IV with single malt. You could just lean back rest the arm and let the good times flow. Just remember since you are by passing the taste buds don't used the good stuff.
