    Hamish,

Those sweaters are awesome. I have an off-white "knock-off" that get a lot of wear with my kilts. I think they are a natural with a kilt.

very nice looking sweaters. They do go well with the kilt. Very sharp!

I have a sweater similar to the natural black. I bought it over eight years ago while working at "The Nature Company". It was labeled a "Irish Fishermans Sweater". I really liked it and used my employee discount to purchase it. I wore it once and haven't put it on since. It is such a heavy and thick sweater. I was too hot walking about outside on a 32F day. I may have to get it out and give it another try.

I have two of these sweaters and love them. The one I wear most is a deep green with dark purple inflections mixed in. The other is the more traditional cream color. I'm sure that I'll be wearing my dark green for the St. Patrick's Day parade as the early temperature predictions are for mid 30's and it's heavy enough to keep me warm without having to wear a jacket.

I too just received one of these very fine sweaters in ecru. The workmanship is exquisite and it fits perfectly. Definitely worth the price. I see more of these in various colors in my future.

Hamish, you look like a million bucks!

Beautiful sweaters, Hamish. You wear them well...as always!

Great colors. They should match many kilts in your kollection.

Hamish, you are indeed correct. Aran sweaters are a fantastic accoutrement for activities when it's a bit cold. Hence my sweater wearing adventure last year around this time as seen below!
