Ron, while that is a good idea, I wonder if there are actually enough people that are kilted full time, or wish to be, that deal with this issue. I agree it has popped up numerous times, but a simple search of the forums (top rightof the page under the PM notice) could find these threads. At the bottum of each thread there are also Similar Threads listed.

I don't speak for the mod team, other than myself, but given the space already used for this forum, I would suggest this as a sticky that can be added to rather than an entiely new forum. I just don't think it is a big enough issue to merrit a new forum as the threads/posts within that forum will be minimal.

Have a look at what Pour1Malt has done with this sticky for Scottish holidays. Are you interested in doing something similar for Dress Codes?

I use the search function a lot...and its so good a lot of stuff gets included that's not relevant and there's wading to do.

Understand what you're saying. Was just a baby idea.

Your comments generated another idea...don't know if its even possible.

Would it be possible in the section where articles are to just have a heading for dealing with dress codes, then under that heading the links to the dress code posts that had meaningful information in them. Sort of doing the searching and sorting out in advance.
