Chinese-Scottish tartan source?
I saw Pengguu's thread on Chinese-Scottish tartan. Now given that I am of Scots ancestry (and Welsh, Irish, and English), and we have adopted 2 beautiful daughters from China, this tartan has a significant meaning to me. Does anyone know of a source for it? I have not even searched yet, just saw the thread, but figured our members would know.

Based on (from the article referenced in the other thread):
It was specially designed by the Strathmore Woollen Company and the Scottish Tartans Authority.
I'd contact either Strathmore directly, through a kiltmaker, or the Tartan Museum (Matt could either get some or have some made- probably the former).

Seriously, I am sure that a lot of kiltmakers can have this tartan woven for a kilt.

I think that is a GREAT tartan for you. AGAIN . . .
Contact Strathmore or have a "proxy"/"agent" do it on your behalf.
If worse comes to worse, have it custom woven. Most kiltmakers (Matt, Barb, Kathy, and most others who make hand-stitched tartans) can have it done for you easy enough, as most have working relationships with mills. OR you can have it done for yourself by contacting an appropriate mill.
It should be significantly cheaper to get some from a batch already woven than a custom run.
