Rumors of CJs being hard to import are greatly exaggerated.
Mostly by Ural and Dnepr dealers.
All of our bikes are vintage, that is 25 years or older. There are no import issues with vintage bikes..
I have a K750, an Mt16 Neval-Dnepr and a long list of others I will not boar you with.
All LRM bikes are built with only the finest parts, from the ground up using upgraded bearings and seals
I’ll guarantee you will not find a better built bike than one from Long River Motorworks.

An old pic of the '94 YJ, during the pre-kilted era. Soon to be my youngest son's ride. He graduates a year early out of High School with a phenominal record of academic and civic service. I promised either of my sons the Jeep to whomever gets the scholarship to college. Camerons (my youngest son)hasn't been awarded yet, but I think he's earned it.

    It's an optical illusion Grant!

It's bigger than most bikes, British or otherwise but comparison with cars is like chalk and cheese - for example even the Wing is no more than a third to half the width of an average car which can make things useful for overtaking or squeezing through lines of stationary traffic.

Goldies are a lot of motorcycle.
Not in line with my tastes in bikes... but if I ever wanted to do a cross country road trip on a bike, the Gold Wing would be my first choice... it's what they're built for.

I took a wee trip last weekend and as a result I'm going to be adding a second vehicle. I'm admit to increasing the challenge a bit, because I am not going to buy the car as a driver. I'm just buying the parts to build one like this -

They say he who dies with the most toys wins and I'm doing my best not to lose.

Although this little project is going to SEVERELY curtail any future kilt purchases for a while.
