Here are full-kilt shots. The over-apron is 16" wide, so yes, I guess I've really made a tartan box-pleat. But without the confidence I gained from making 5 X-Kilts I probably wouldn't have attempted this one, so I think the "hybrid" designation wil persist, at least in my mind. Thanks again to Alan H for sharing his talents with us. This evening I shall raise a glass of my finest single-malt in your honour, Sir.
