What I like about your story is the fact that even though you and your friend hadn't seen each other in years the bond of friendship was still there. The wheel turned and your friend is now back. I have friends like that, those that have moved to the other side of the country. We haven't seen each other in person in far too long. But we write, email, or give each other the odd call now and then. We remain friends. In a an ever changing world the facts that the bonds of friendship stay strong is very comforting.
