Yeah, I know the shoes are not perfect. I have another pair of brown shoes that I think better match the sporran, and I actually put them on this morning when I got dressed, then decided that these other shoes looked better with the socks. And since the shoes are closer in proximity to the socks than to the sporran, this pair won out. :-)
I could avoid the question entirely and wear black. Now I know what Ham was talking about when he said how hard it is to match brown leathers with blue.
