My personal hankering is for a purplish tweed kilt and a Jacobite shirt, hopefully in a Hawaiian print. I am painfully curious as to how that would look.

Although Mr. Newsome makes me curious if I could pull of an entire suit, but I doubt it. I am just not the handsome sort that does well with suits.

But by damn, he does make it look so good.

Tweed neck to knee my dear Dread. Nobody would notice your crooked nose. .
I'm not sure about purplish, you're no Dirka. Might I suggest a soft Lovat green tweed to compliment your lovely brides eyes?

I fear I'd roast in a full coat.

Hmmm a Jacobite coat with the slit sleeves to show the shirt underneath?

I really like the looks that people like Mr. Newsome can pull off... I am to short to do it though. He dressed that way, he is dashing. I do something like that, and I'd look like a tacky angry oompa loompa.

Herringbone tweeds are slimming what with little arrows that appear to point northward. That or all that close-fitting wool on a hot North Carolinian mid-summers day!

If you don't mind my asking, what has all this to do with Mr. Newsome's Harris tweed kilt suit? May I respectfully suggest the off topic forum, gentlemen?
