Looks like I wont be able to go. My fiancee's sister in law is having her birthday party that weekend, so I have to be here.

Thanks for the update, Will! Much appreciated.

With this new information, I'm thinking we should have a small X-Marks gathering Friday night at the Tilted Kilt in the Rio Hotel. It would be easier to get to know everyone than trying to meet in a bigger event.

Then on Saturday night after the games we could head to Hennesey's Tavern for fun and debauchery.

What say the rabble?

Sounds good to Me, Informal or Casual? I am all for casual.
Marilyn and I are at the far west end of Fremont St. and the rio is 3700 block of S vegas strip. I need to get the lay of the land

Should be fun,

Casual works for me. Not sure which kilt I'll be wearing, but I'll have on my black "Sporranos" t-shirt that night.

Will you have a car or are you using public transportation? The Rio is actually a bit west of the strip on Flamingo.

One more week to go, we can't wait!!

Went to their website and found it on the map and yes we have our car but am not opposed to using public transportation. We'll see what works when we get there.

I'm looking forward to meeting you all there! We still plan on arriving Friday night, but perhaps not until 9pm so we'll be joining you at the Tilted Kilt a bit tardy.

I was checking the LV Games website and there are events scheduled at 8pm for both Friday at Saturday nights. Friday is just a party at Henessey's, but Saturday is listed as: Ceilidh at Hennessey’s Pub – LA Scots –Celtic Rock Band TBA

What time is being planned for the gathering in the tilted kilt? Suzann and I have to be at a meeting at Congregation Ner Tamid at 6:30 but should be free to leve there by 7:30 PM

See Kilt nights. Looks like we will be at the Tilted Kilt 8ish on Friday. Look for guys with legs and gals with red(ish) hair! All women who associate with kilties are either redheads or wish they were, right???!
