Okay I had to check my schedule as My CG unit is getting back on the water at the end of April. My first crew is scheduled for the following Friday. I figured I could have given you people a tour of the facility an then met up with all at the Queen Arms at about 9. Since that is scrapped I am willing to show you guys my rescue organization (no boat rides though unless the lake level is up to your neck). My HQ is two minutes down the road being that the QH is the destination after the occasional Friday/Saturday crew. If anyone is interested I can arrange a tour with my superior (that being myself, as no-one is above than me) for a nominal charge.

Yep, but offering a tour of my second work place. Figure that one day Improv1 will reciprocate and show all of us his workplace. I've always been interested in how a milkshake machine really works and at what temperature french fries cook at.

LK-13: You've always got a ride if I"m going. You're not very far out of my way.
Grant: What's all this stuff about a Queen's Arm? "I figured I could have given you people a tour of the facility an then met up with all at the Queen Arms at about 9." Where's that?
..then you mention the QH "...the QH is the destination after the occasional Friday/Saturday crew," which I presume equals Queen's Head.
Please post the information for our next kilt night. When? (date and time) Where? Who will be attending? With an hours drive after, I like to leave around midnight.
At two kilt nights I attended, I met a total of two other members. (not counting the Scottish Rite). I don't mind the hour drive, but would like to know that a couple of other members will be there.
Confused out-of-towner

Scoutniagara and everyone else
The pub is actually called the Queens Head, my fault this time about the wrong name, there is a map to the pub below:
As there are alot of one way streets near there I think it would be prudent to check it out.
So to sum it all up as I see it:
Date
Friday April 27th
Time
8:00
Location
Queen's Head

P.S. I will be there with a new kilt.

Here is another additional SOKS event for you to consider...
Our musical group will be hosting a fund raising event at the Moonshine Cafe on Tuesday May 15. We will be doing one set of Swing, and one set of Bluegrass/Olde Timey tunes.
If you plan to attend, bring money for the Kerr St. Food Bank. We will be passing the bucket, and hope to raise $2000 dollars.
Cheers,
Rick

A) what do you need to know?
B) I've used packing tape wraped loosely around my hand, stick side out, to pick up hair and lint.
