I have to echo Cav's sentiments on Paddy's Pub in Chateau Elan. The bar area was rather quiet only a few people in and out. When I got there Steve was already seated and working on his Guiness. A rather nice Barmaid came up and asked what I would like. She gave me the list of what they had on tap. Guiness, Bass, Harp, and a few others, definately a great Irish offering. I settled for a Guiness and it showed up with quite a well poured manner, a nice head on itm, and very cold. EXCELLENTint: . I will have to see how well they can do a proper Black and Tan next time I am up that way! I had the fried mushroom Caps, stuffed with Boursin Cheese. Again Exellent!! I won't go into describing the place. Cav has done that quite well. Aside from the one conversation that was discribed earlier, Cav and I had a great time chatting and nursing our Guiness.

I would have to agree that open mic night might not be a good night to enjoy a peaceful jaw session. Though a recon on the live music night would be great if it were traditional. All in all it was a great time and I had a blast!

Steve, I enjoyed meeting and chatting with you! Will definately let you know when I am back up in the area. Sorry I did not get to reply back to you sooner. I got home around noon on Friday and had to throw my duffle in the wife's car and take off for Orlando for my daughter's vollyball meet this weekend. I got in from that at 9 o'clock this evening, its been a long week! Will be in touch soon hopefully about the belts!
