			2000 +

I guess that I was asleep at the switch and the little box with the total number of members is now below the bottom line of my monitor, but I see that the 2000 mark has been passed. I know that that's not 2000 ACTIVE members but a we bit of a lnadmark all the same, eh?
 Best

2000 + is an awesome accomplishment. When was this site created anyways? How long did it take to get 2000 + members?

Our forum administrator, Hank (highlandtide) has a forum join date of 1/22/2004. I joined in September of that year. As far as I can recall, when I became a member there were around 200 or so of us. Quite a few members have come and gone since then, but a 10x increase in 3 years is a fantastic growth rate. If my IRA funds grew that fast, I'd be rich and have nearly as many kilts as Ham and Ron.

I found the crazy UK board, probably from their newsletter. Steve Ashton of Freedom Kilts clued me in on this board (THANK YOU!!!) in October of 2004.
I'm positive that without the fellowship and support of this board I'd not have had the cajones to go to work kilted and in less than a year become kilted full time. I'm also positive I'd have been "taken" much more often when kilt and accessory shopping without the advice and experience sharing on this board.

What I can't figure, is why some folks only stay for a few posts...guess they be humans and not addicted to kilts....

Anyhow...thanks for the joy guys....especially Hank and the mods who grunt it out with us crazies.

Just switch the 8 and the 2 and you have got it, unless of course you get me on a roof somewhere.
