That's good - too much spilling constitutes alcohol abuse!

Grant - thanks for the detailed & revealing review! I had already planned my next kilt to be one of Steve's, but you've certainly done nothing but solidify that decision for me. (My first FK, however, will be a solid color - nothing against the camo, but since I don't HAVE to wear camo patterns any more, I tend not to. More importantly, the solid will replace a pair of uniform p@nts, so I need to at least try to come close to matching their color.)

I really appreciate your comment on the decorative buttons being raised a bit - I wouldn't have expected that, and like your proposed "fix." (I hope Steve can/will accommodate a few of us who may be a bit persnickity about things - I just hate "catching" on things as I wander around... it's bad enough my shoulders tend to "catch" every doorjamb or corner I pass - and not because of my breadth. I've "caught" seams and pleats and flaps and pocket opening, and... well, you get the idea. Buttons that catch? Just more potential pain!)

Reminds me when I was bartending. On a very busy night I handed a woman a bottle of beer. She stared at me, and finally said, "May I have a glass...I can't drink out of a bottle."

I couldn't help myself, "I learned to drink out of a bottle long before I was ready to drink out of a glass."
