Glasgow(KY) Highland Games 2007

You going to the Murfreesboro games in October? Cool. They have a really nice set up there. I'm hoping to compete there again this year.

I'll start up a thread for these around September. But just to let you know, there have been some changes to the Tennessee Highland Games now known as the Tennessee Highland Festival. #1) location has changed. Its still near the M'boro area but not at the Ren Faire site. #2) the athletic competitions are no longer. The turnout of atheletes was minimal and they were usually college and high school track & field atheletes with no hghland game experience. But come on out in October there will still be plnty to see and do. And again this is for the TN games not the Glasgow games. So back to the topic.....

I was hoping to make it to Glasgow but something else has come up, so I hope everyone has a great time. I'll be there in spirit.

Well David, it looks like its just us. My time will probably be spent between the athletic events and the Highland Rim Scottish Society tent. We are the honored society for the games. Hope to see you there.
