Welcome to Spring Time in the Rockies

Here it is, late May and at 6:30 pm it's

 Mid 30Fs and SNOWING

Typical here in Colorado, if you don't like the weather, just wait. It'll change in 5 minutes, 5 hours or at the most 5 days.

It snowed here today as well, we're about an hour from the rockies. Me and the boss ended up stuck in a whiteout on the way to a funeral!

Sorry it was 82 and sunny but there was no humidity to make it sticky. You just had to try to enjoy the day.

Yep, that's Colorado for you. I love the shock I see in folks eyes when I tell them that I've seen temps hit the 100's one day and then a major snowstorm the next. In June. I remember one person asking me why I was carrying a blanket in my car in the middle of July. (He had just arrived from Texas.) I explained that even in July we could get freezing and near freezing temps. He laughed, and proceeded to get in my car without a jacket even though we were going to be out all night. By midnight he was wrapped in the very blanket he had laughed about muttering things about how Colorado weather ought to be against the law...

Ah, global warming! The notion that the only thing that science can do right is...predict the weather!
