Nice shots, it amazes me that people would ask for no Geremans at a WWII re- enactment.

I must admit its quite unnerving to see a battallion of German soldiers marching down a high street in the North of England, my camera went flat which is a shame becasue there was a lot of WW2 vehicles and some amazing costumes there. the northern folk always make people very welcome and the pipes are always a source of fascination, Thomas Rawlinson came from that part of England (hes credited by some people with "inventing" the wee kilt)
