I fly several flags at our camp site.
The one that stands out the most is the Clan Wallace flag.
I will post a photo of it once I take time to break out the camera.

Well, good news, I mentioned the games to my wife who thought it would be fun to go. Her Mom lives about 1.5 hours so we will drive up to her Moms on Friday night, then leave our 3year old daughter with Grandma and hit the road early Saturday morning to the games, coming back late Saturday night. We have never been to any games before, so this should be fun for us. My Wife is due in late August so this will be our last trip before the baby is born. I am hoping for cool weather on Saturday so my wife does not melt.

I'll have three of my 4 kids with me (11, 14, and 19). Hoping to take in the House of Gordon AGM, and I'm looking forward to a large gathering of X Markers.
With so many going we should designate several meeting times and locations so folks really have a chance to hook up. Never having been there befroe, I'll leave the where's to the more experienced.
Well we are less than 3 weeks away. I have been giving this thought and
I think you are right about having several times scheduled.
How about this:
For those going up Friday lets meet up at say 2: 15 at the
Harp tent. Why at the Harp tent??
Well our very own Matt Newsome has
competed in the Lochaber Trump (jaw harp) and won this at least twice.
He was also a judge last year.
Matt are you going to Judge or compete this year???
Friday evening is a good time to see folks at the celtic Jam.
What if we meet up at say 6:00 at the Clan Wallace tent with a flask and have a little single malt tasting??
The Concert does not start untill 7pm.
(Although if you want a good seat, I would suggest you go ahead and and place you chair down infornt of the stage by around 5pm or before.)
On Saturday let's say 1 pm near the same
Harp tent just to keep things simple.
Do we have anyone coming up just for Sunday??

It still looks like I'll be there on Saturday only.
KML -- do you have any suggestions as to parking on Saturday? I don't know the shuttle routes at all.

The bottom of the mountain will give you the shortest ride
from you car. The Linville lot on highway 105. If you are going north on Hwy 221, when you pass Everything Scottish and the Tartan Restaurant
you will see a stop light. You will turn left and the lot is just a short distance. When I have driven up for the day, we have usually arrived between 9 to 10 am and the lot has always been open.
The Newland High Scool lot is also not far if the Linville lot gets filled.

Anyone going to be at Grandfather earlier in the week, say Monday through Thursday?

Early at Grandfather?
We'll be there. Plan to get to the campground Tuesday. Will go around sightseeing Wed and Thurs. All are welcome to drop in at the campsite. We will have a bunch of flags courtesy of my son. And of course the Clan Watson flag will be flying proudly.

I'll be there Monday, possibly earlier. You'll find me down in MacVillage (on the family side, to the left as you come in, down to the bottom of the loop in the road. Look for all the flags.) I'll be flying the Canadian flag, as well as the Ontario provincial flag (red ensign, with the Union Jack in the upper left, coat of arms in the center, with Three gold maple leafs on a green field, with St. George's cross above.) Just ask around for the Canuck, they all know me.
