    Oops,

    I should have been more specific. The sash replaces a belt. It's the woven bit at the gent's waist. For folks trudging cross country on snowshoes, it's usually stuffed round the waist with mittens, hats, scarves, trail mix, etc.

    I I had time to sit and finger weave them, I'd probably find it very relaxing. Life dictates otherwise.
