Wow! Can't believe I missed this thread. Congratulations on joining the CG Auxilliary from from a Coxswain in the Canadian Coast Guard Auxiliary. Don't know if it's been posted before but here's a link I came across long ago about converting a uniform jacket to a kilt jacket.

Makes me wish my dress blues still fit so I could modify the coat for a kilt.
