Campbell Highland Games and Post Games BBQ

Funny thing about highland games - they seem to vary by region. I had to go to Utah to see the sheaf toss (not the sheep toss!), a bag of straw tossed for height using a pitchfork. I've heard of, but not seen, whisky barrel races (roll them with sticks), wife carry races (man or wife or both has to be drunk), and timed farmers walks (carrying something really heavy in each hand.)


How're those for a few ideas at a Nor-Cal Rabble Games sometime this summer or fall?

Yeah, I don't know why we don't do the sheaf toss here in Nor Cal.

The beer keg toss was sponsored by a local brewery, in fact the one that brewed the Kilt Lifter beer that Jake was displaying, earlier in the thread.

I'm glad my beer keg toss is recorded for posterity...SOMEONE'S posterity, anyway!
