New Naval Tartan sport kilt

Is that because of style or service history? Just curious. It's both for me (my maternal great-grandfather served in the Navy in WWI, my grand uncles in WWII, my uncle in Vietnam, my mom's cousins and my dad during the Cold War, plus I plan on going through NROTC and becoming a Naval Aviator, but I would still have bought that kilt even if all of them had been Marines

I purchased an SK Navy tartan kilt because my Dad served on destroyers in WW2. But having gotten it it has become my favorite every day kilt. IMHO it's a beautiful tartan.

First, I think it's a handsome tartan with all that blue.

Second, I believe all all my Grandmother's brothers served in the Navy in World War II.

I'm not sure I would wear that tartan myself, but if I was going to wear one of the armed services tartans it would be the Navy.
