Picked up my 16oz Hunting Stewart from the post office today... i'm not going to bother with pics, as there are already some in Shriner's review.

Just some point form observations (I have a fetish for point form lists):

The Experience:
- From the date I ordered to the date I received it: exactly one month.
- Think I got the wrong order, though... right kilt, wrong size. Also, different sporran than I ordered... already dispatched an email to the Marks for help (will update with results).
- Ordered the whole package. Belt seems decent, buckle will definitely be replaced with something nicer, but does the job. Already have a nicer kilt pin on its way, but, again, the included one does the job. Sporran is decent value for the money, looks pretty good to the average person, it'll suit my needs fine. Flashes are great. Given what was spent, and being a VERY seasoned eBayer, everything meets my expectations.

The Kilt:
- This thing is heavy. Before now, i've only had my hands on a 13oz PV Royal Stewart that my little brother bought in Scotland this spring... this outweighs that by a tonne. No scale, so I can't tell you just HOW much more it is.
- Measurements: 292 inches total length = 8.1 yards of material for a 38" waist kilt. I remember that there were some concerns about the actual amount of material used. So, its advertised as an 8 yarder, and it is.
- The advertised 24" drop is BANG on.
- 1" waistband, followed by 7" of lining
- Lining is sewn from the top, and goes the full length of the kilt
- Buckles, as stated in other reviews, do the job. Nothing fancy.
- 3.5" deep pleats
- 31 pleats total (30+1 reversed)
- 2 belt loops, matched perfectly to the sett

- Only tag on the item includes the size, and the washing instructions. Nothing about the material content (which seems to be a common question). I honesly don't care which of the varieties it is... it looks, feels, and hangs very well.

So, overall, i'm satisfied with the package (as received). Obviously, wish it was here sooner (as the wait is always torture), but it was well within their 6-8 week timeframe. Here's hoping that the stellar customer service that they're known for holds true in getting my order sorted out!
