I quite agree with that one...especially if you have a few lads that can sing those harmonies...Stan Rogers = most excellent!

Man I love that song, 3PintsGone did a version of this one on their Beaches of St Valery CD.

I'll have to check that out; however, the only real way to hear the song is to hear Stan Rogers singing it. I have a version on Stan's CD Home in Halifax, and it send chills down your spine to hear all of the bluenoses singing along --sorta like the Aussies singing Waltzing Matilda with John Williamson, or Flower of Scotland at a fitba match.

Barley Mow by Seamus Kennedy is great. You start with a full drink and by the end it's empty.
