Alas, no. This monument was to a man who envisioned turning this railroad right-of-way into the wonder regional trail it is today. I read the plaque, but failed to note his name. Had it been Robert Service, even my unimpressionable mind would have registered it.

Indeed, everything I heard about you prior to coming was contrary to what I experienced. Barb kindly consented to my request to take the pics. I was intrigued by the human-scale version of a closure system I had used a couple years ago on a turtle shell sporran. Additionally, Steve's request for copies of the pics now makes sense in light of his announced Freedom Kilts Celtic Center, complete with a leather worker shop (but I dare not reveal the actual verbiage he used in making the request!)
