    Sacoro New Mexico

    Im Going To Be In Socoro New Mexico, I Thinks Thats How It Is Spelt. But Im Going To Be There In The First Week Of Aug For Some Training. I Know It Going To Be Hot Put Is It Weather That A Kilt Can Be Worn In.
    Iv Heard That It Is Dry But How Is It For Real. Anyone Know. And Are There Any X Marks In The Area.

    I'm in New Mexico, though quite far from where you'll be. However, our weather is all about the same. Yes. Hot and dry. I wear wool kilts quite often (would wear more often if I had more ) Fine kilting weather. Nothing to worry about as far as that.

    Ummm...it varies every year but the first week of August could well be monsoon season with thunder boomer heavy rains. Check with Weather Underground before you leave and pack accordingly. Of course kilts work well in rainstorms too....

    And, you could get BOTH...hot mornings and early afternoons with monsoon rain in the late afternoon...or at night...or first thing in the morning.

    Guessing you'll be indoors and well refrigerated for your training. There's nothing more comfy than a kilt when sitting endless hours.

    Thanks For The Weather Info. Boy The Weather Underground, Just Watched A Very Good Movie On Them And The Whole Movment. Different Weather Under Ground. Any Way Ill Be Outdoors In The Desert For This Training. But I Wont Be Wearing Kilt For The Training, For Safety Reasons, And Reg's. But I Will Be Out Every Night Hitting What Ever Pubs Are In The Area, I Heard There Is A Good Brewpub In The Area. But Thank You For The Weather Info.
