They used to tell us in sales 10% of people you encounter will fall in love with you and buy from you because they like you. 10% will not like you no matter what. You make your living in that undecided 80%.
Maybe kilting in amongst the unwashed is like that.
In the short time I have been wearing kilts, if I feel unmanly enough to go bifurcated for a day, people are starting to ask me where the kilt is. Those days are getting further apart.
The 80% is starting to come around. Today one of our tech supervisors reported seeing a man walking his dog at sunrise in a kilt. It wasn't the braveheart dude in Seaford. So now there are three of us in Southern Delaware.
Who knows Andy, maybe in another five years....
