			I've been a good boy!!

I have been a good boy, up until now, but now its time to JONES!! Back some months ago I contacted Barb T. about making a kilt for me. She agreed and she told me that it would be the first of July before she could start due to her daughter's wedding, etc.
Well, she contacted me for my measurements and she is ready to go. So now the Jones has kicked in and I am really excited. She has been really wonderful with my questions and some times indecision on issues. But now, there is a Traditional kilt in Ancient Grant in the works and I am very excited!

 Thanks Barb!!

Cool, happy waiting, of course we want pictures when the kilt does arrive. To help with the waiting you could always go out and get yourself a new sporran, hose, belt, etc.
 Congratulations on the new kilt.

If Barb hasn't already suggested two straps instead of three and no sporran loops, she will. I recommend both, but especially the two-straps. I am slowly taking off all my hip straps and finding the kilt moves more freely and the aprons drop better when sitting.

Welcome to the brotherhood of the JONES - and I agree with Turpin - two straps beats three straps hands down - the kilt apron lays much better!

You read my mind already. I have a laundry list of "supplies" to go with the new kilt.

			2 straps, huh?

Hmm... maybe that would help me in the future. I'm a man with a medium height, and a bit of a belly. I find that my kilt tends to accentuate my belly rather than improving my appearance.

TWO STRAPS! One on each side. The original use of the double buckles was with "hi-rise" military kilts, and the second buckle on the right fell not at the hip, but at the waist. (I think.)
