    One of the advantages of synthetics. No wet dog smell when they dry out.

    But, like most any other garment if you want to show it in the best light then sopping wet is not a good choice.

    Now, if you want to demonstrate that the kilt is a truly rugged garment, able to handle the elements, keep it's wearer warm, and still dry into a good looking garment then you are set.
