Congratulations!

She could add a tartan sash to an existing outfit. If you have or order a nice wool kilt, consider getting her a matching sash. Some of our advertisers, or your favorite highland retailer, may have them in stock.

When you're wearing the Irish National, she could use SWK's fly plaid or piper's plaid as a shawl---see various pix for some ideas.

A "kilted" skirt in tartan can go with or without a sash/shawl. Straight/a-line skirts work in tartan, too. For evening wear, the long "hostess" kilted skirt is very elegant.

Tweed always looks nice, too.
