I like my economy too. Daily I wear a nightstalker sporran. The seperate compartments are really nice during the work day when I am constantly retrieving my flash drive, utility knife, ipod, digi camera, PDA, wallet, smokes, money, etc.
The economy is great for outings when I want the leather and am less "busy". ( you know dressy day events, like Wal Mart shopping and dining at the Chinese buffet )
I want to get more and better sporrans, but the el cheapo will always have a place. Hard to go wrong, and it can always be a "back up" when you upgrade. There are many who advise to get a nice buzz kidder or freelander off the bat.
There is certainly something to be said for buying quality. In my world there is alot going on where I don't want to have to worry about trashing a kilt or sporran. SWK gear is great for this, the kilts and the sporrans.
I think I would really like wearing a hand made TANK and a high quality sporran. Right now I am taking a break from tossing heavy boxes and bags of concrete about in a non-air conditioned warehouse. My Irish National economy SWK and affordable sporran from the same house are near ideal for this kind of day.
