    Jamie,

I do believe those are two of my kilts in the same picture, there! That's the Federal Memorial tartan next to you, correct?

Kevin, your swatch of the 13 oz Cian tartan arrived today and it is on its way to you in the mail.

Good memory Matt! They are both your work (which is why I chose this picture )though Dave's is a box pleat and mine is a five yard knife pleat. It was a very nice tartan and kiltimabar was just as pleased and impressed with your work as I was.

    Cheers

    Here's one way.....

You can always combat the Jones by ordering something in stock - like some hose and garters. It will arrive quickly and that will reassure you that they really do get your product to you as quickly as they can.

Also, Matt may have a copy of the Art of Kiltmaking left... a great read for anybody getting into kilts whether or not you plan to make one. It will give you some insight into why you just can't get the ultimate kilted experience off the peg or from a microwave.

happy jonesing - and happy new kilt!

Matt is a scholar and a gentleman! I had no ill effects from the wait and my mind was at ease.

I'm sure you are both right, but April 9 seems a long way in the past.

Guess who's kilt is next in line.... I'll never tell! I'll give one hint, though, it's a Gordon tartan, not modern, not ancient....
