Zooom (or Wooosh)
No doubt the SWK are favored around here, but it seems the shipping has everyone baffled. I suspect Jerry has successfully used rifts in the space-time continuim to his advantage. Jonesing has a limited shelf-life if you order from SWK's.

or maybe Jerry's utilizing a shipping method perfected by Orwell:

I am definitely considering getting one of these in a few weeks (when I finally have a bit of spending money) as it might just be worth it to have one cheap kilt until I finish getting back into shape. And after that, it shouldn't be too hard to make it fit again. And even if I can't, it's cheap.
It doesn't quite match my tastes the way a UK does, but you know how it goes, what with the beggars and the choosers and the one not being the other.

One thing I've learned about machine washing kilts with velcro on them -- wash them with the velcro fastened. It decreases the threads caught in the velcro, and the pilling of the fabric from the velcro hooks hitting it during washing.

I received a Buchanan Thrifty-Kilt from SWK a few days ago. I love it. Fit's great, feels great, looks great, and for me the light weight is wonderful for hot days due to a large percentage of my sweat glands no longer functioning because of a neurological disease.
I have 10 Stillwaters, 3 wools, 3 standards, 3 economies, and now a thifty. I plan to pick up a couple more of the thrifty kilts for next summer. To me, Stillwater makes kilting everyday a practicality when money is an issue, as it is for me on a fixed disability income.
Kilted full-time since August 2005.

I "broke down" and ordered my Thrifty on sunday (9/18), went for the Black Watch. While I love my CCC Tank there are some things I don't want to do in it...like kickball. I won't even do a side by side comparison because they are totally different kilts on the opposite sides of the spectrum. By all accounts I should have it any day now, let y'all know......
The Thrifty arrived Weds, and I've been wearing it quite a bit. Overall I'm pleased with the Kilt, would have like the velcro to go farther around. I did like that it was sett to the strip, it's very comfortable: not having that prickle wool can have. On a really windy day the kilt maybe a tad on the light weight side. However a nice light kilt in the hot Phoenix weather is good to have, wish I had had this kilt for the 1/2 to St. Paddy's day, rather than my tank.
funny side note, I get my Thrifty and a day later I order my next (3rd) Kilt and I'm starting to become addicted to wearing them, 'cause they are so comfortable.
