    I'm surprised you can't get these type of glasses in the States. If it is Scotch you are talking about it is whisky, by the way. The inferior stuff from Ireland is called whiskey.

    Give them their due, the Irish make a mean glass of Guiness but when it comes to whisky I'm sorry there's just no competition. Bushmills is OK and Black Bush is almost there but they just don't cut the mustard when compared to Scotch. But then I'm biased even with some Irish blood

    Jamesons is quite nice and reminiscent of some of the Islay whiskies

    Guinness? An OK substitute if Murphy's or Beamish is not available.
