Y'gotta root for the home town team, even in bad years. I'm a Coyotes fan, myself, and am continually disappointed come Stanley Cup time.

Cardinals, I started writing this like it was a baseball game. It's football? Ha, 3-4 hours early for either one is beyond my ken.

There's a lesson here. If you are in a crowd and somebody insults you in your kilt, wait a moment longer. Usually, others in the crowd speak up for you. Why, because they know what it is and they get a chance to tell somebody. Don't take that pleasure away from them.

You've also validated one of my other life rules for events like this. After 3 beers, you're beautiful. But, in reality, you probably were looking good, just like Riverkilt.

I agree. This isn't the first time that a complete stranger has stood up for me. It's a good feeling, plus you're right, people like to act like they know what they're talking about, and are probably happy to correct either another stranger or their own friend.

Y'know, as a Canucks (NHL) fan, Giants (WHL) fan, hockey fan, and Canadian, I'm really happy to see this post.

Cool story Ayin, let us know when you go again so we can watch for you on TV.

We have a local arena football team who's colors are green and black. So I was planning on wearing my Gordon modern when I went to a game and I haven't made it back to one. Maybe next season.
