    I think we are both right!! In 1810 the Duke of Buccleuch succeeded to the Dukedom of Queensbury thus seperating the Duke of Queensbury title from the Marquess of Queensbury title(dont ask me how or why) which, as you correctly say carried on down the Douglas line.Do you know if there is an Earl of Drumlanrig now?
