Amen and Thank you!
I had thought of posting a message to honor the day yesterday, but had decided against it. I must say how touched I am by the sentiments expressed by the people who have posted in this thread.
I was in the WTC on 9/11/01 and still remember the moment of impact of the plane. I was fortunate enough to get out unharmed, but three people in my extended family were lost. I also knew the Fire Dept Chaplain who was killed there.
So I join you in thinking of them and all the others lost that day and since, as a consequence of the attack. I include the two firemen who were just killed in a building across the street from where the Towers stood and which has been waiting for demoltion for these past six years.
MacWage, I thought that your attire was a wonderful tribute to all of them.
