Excellent pics; great to see six kilties together.
Young were one of the big families in my home town of Paisley - they owned a large transport depot and had a big fleet of buses. The depot was fronted on two sides by long rows of tenement properties and the Youngs rented out the individual flats. They were one of the first families in Paisley to have television and my mother was among those invited to their house to watch the queen's coronation on television in 1953. The Youngs sold their bus company to the state in 1948 but continued with the property business until they began selling the flats in the 1970's.
