Tell you what Bryan,

I tried the gentle cycle of the washer and the result was always the same - shrunk hose. Painful at the price.

Finally started hand washing in Woolite in the sink. Tedious, particularly since I work long hours and like to change hose at lunch. But worth it. No shrinkage from hand washing in cold water and Woolite.
