I'll second the vote for a Robertson, how about hunting or hunting ancient as they are not available in any other form (than wool) and would complement the line. The red is available in synthetic at the Frugal Corner and USA Kilts.

I've seen pictures of Frugal Corners' "Robertson Red" (notice the quotes) - I'll stick with my CCK and homemade PVs.
I'll second the Hunting Robertson, and whatever number we're up to for the Maple Leaf.

This is true and you should also consider that IoS is a private tartan and will have to pay royalties on it. That being said I would think Jerry would appreciate the imput from the rabble but we are probably still a small percentage of his clientel, also consider that we are probably more knowledgable of the available tartans through our communications here than most. By judging the XMarks enthusiasm to the Leatherneck tartan if that were across the board the yes Jerry sould look into the other military tartans. You should also look to see if the market is flooded with similar availiable tartans at similar price and quality.
