OK - I had this mental image of a basket full of some sort of new sandwitches. Longabergers - a cross between the hot dog and the burger (hence the spelling difference!) It's not a hot dog, it's not a hamburger, it's a Longaberger! And a whole basket of them! And only one person gets them after hours of grueling bingo play.................

    Saltire not saltaire

Erm... the national flag of Scotland is the saltire, (not the saltaire) and so the kilt should be spelled the same way.

The saltire, St Andrew's Cross, or crux decussata is the diagonal cross that St Andrew is said to have been martyred on. It's the principal element of the Scottish flag ('blazoned azure, a saltire in argent').

'Saltaire' is the name of a village originally built as a 'model community' by the Victorian industrialist Sir Titus Salt to house the workers in his woollen mills. It's near Shipley, in West Yorkshire.

    Best regards
