But as you said they are a dress shoe, and I think that is what Arlen is looking for for his wedding. Personally I prefer Church's brogues. Unfortunately thanks to the dollar they have become very expensive, but luckily they tend to last about ten years.
In a way they compare to a good handmade kilt.
