Go to <www.cabelas.com> and search wader socks or the item number.
On my legs they reach to about four inches above the knee at their unfolded length.
I can easily fold them over to just below the kneecap or my preference of about two fingers below.
Because of the varied coloring/texture on the ankle back I like them with boots rather than shoes.
IMHO they look good with my Black Watch (SWK Thrifty) and Weathered Mackenzie (SWK Standard).
Other:
I’m new to kilts. More research than experience.
Thus far I find that for my own comfort (YMMV) my SWK Thrifty kilts definitely need “underwarming” garments.
My AK even more so.
Maybe it’s time for them to become indoor-only kilts until Spring.
My first occasion impression is that my SWK standard was much better.
More trials pending.
Shame on me for not yet having a wool kilt. I’ll have to do something about that.
The “cover the knee” kilt length idea will not work for me. I just do not like the look of it.
