Sources for kilt components/accessories

I now have the fabric and the book..
Any idea of the best sources for really nice kilt components such as straps and buckles? My preference would be to have well cast metal buckles as opposed to those which are stamped.

Most of us use either Highland XPress or Lochcarron.

The Highland XPress buckles are a nice cast nickel and the straps are thick but supple. My favorite for machine sewing.

Somebody posted a sitee with some really nice buckles. Another option is pm Cavscout or Canuck both fine leather crafters here.

Wow, I just ordered some from SWK today. They are on the Stillwater website under shop/kilt accessories/misc accessories. Remember the famous lightspeed shipping as a bonus. I just finished my Xmarks tartan kilt and couldn't wait a day or so for mine to arrive. I had a ratty kilt that needs the buckles moved, so I just cannibalized those. O'Neille

Thanks for the EXCELLENT recommendations. I think that the cast buckles will add considerably to the overall appearance!
