Sounds like a great idea!
I think if this prospective cook book is to represent the Xmarksthescot forums, then the best format would be to have a section on each contributing member. The section would contain a bit about the person and why they wear a kilt, be it their herritage, their love of scotland or simply improved comfort.
The more recipies the better, but with background too, why they like the recipe, how it came to be. I'd like to see a book with more depth and character then just a cataloge of recipies!
Also, I'd like to contribute, at my previous place of work, one fellow regularly brough in game to sell to his collegues, I have a few game recipies now, both of my own making and long standing recipies. That stopped a while ago, though, but I have considered taking up shooting so I can get rabbits myself... I can think of things to use the pelts for too.
And lastly, hows this for a suggested title, 'Cooks in Kilts' ?
