Practically every day
2) (If you wear it daily) What profession allows this sort of dress?
I don’t wear my kilts at job but when I get home I will change to a kilt.
3) How does your significant other feel about it?
My wife has nothing against me wearing a kilt at home or when I’m out on my own. But when we are out together she will prefer that I wear trousers.
4) How do you respond to people who question your motives for wearing the kilt?
I tell them that I like variety and that a kilt is extremely comfortable to wear. My neighbours etc. seem OK with this.
5) Do you think kilts are becoming more popular?
I do, even if we are still belonging to a tiny segment.
6) Do you really want them to be more popluar?
I certainly should. The more men in kilts the fewer people shall react like the friend of yours. I have even created a homepage with the purpose of convincing more non-Scots like myself that they should start wearing a kilt (www.dress2kilt.eu)

- Daily ...
- ... outside of work.
- Don't have one at the moment, but no complaints from potential applicants for the position.
- Heritage, Comfort, Why Not, and It's Legal - not necessarily in that order.
- Possibly.
- Recognized, understood, acknowledged for what they are - yes. Popularity I can take or leave; and usually leave.
